Sluff Dog
Sluff is a Tibetan Terrier who loves Yoga Adventures. She is hypoallergenic, does not shed, and always has a positive attitude. She will keep you moving out on the trails with a yip if you dillydally for too long. Her favorite things about working for PCYA are stick chasing and pushing her nose through the snow. Her daily yoga routine involves up dog, down dog, and a vigorous full-body shake. She would love to meet your best friend, so talk to us about bringing your pup along on your adventure. Blake Summers
Blake is the right arm of PCYA. Blake is a certified Wilderness First Responder and an American Mountain Guide Association Single Pitch Instructor. He does it all - yoga of course, but he is also a rock climbing and mountain biking guide. He generally gets after if everyday doing something adventuresome in the outdoors including snowboarding, climbing, mountain biking, and more. You can follow him on Instagram at @blakes_day_off. Joie Astudillo
Joie fell in love with the mountains and snow of Utah. Argentinean by birth, she dove into the world of yoga years ago. She attended The Integrated School of Yoga in Salt Lake City and studied the Purna Yoga Method, meaning to “integrate or combine.” This method made a lot of sense to Joie and in 2010 she became an International Yoga Teacher with The Yoga Federation. Joie has also completed 3 Reiki Levels and Yoga Therapy Training. She loves to be in the mountains whether in the snow or out on the trails with her pup. Follow her at @namasteheart
Cindi Grant
Cindi has a passion for adventure and lets that shine through in her teaching. She completed her yoga teacher training at Salt Lake Community College as part of her degree in 2009. She believes that all things are connected and would like to share that with you. As a professional snowboarder, she has Avalanche level 2 training, professional rescue, and CPR training. Ashley Lauren Brown
Ashley is a Utah local, born and raised amongst the Wasatch Mountains. She took her 200 hour yoga teacher training from School Yoga Institute in July of 2015 and has been teaching yoga ever since. In Ashley’s yoga class you can anticipate a Vinyasa inspired flow with integrated pranayama breathing and an intention for your yoga adventure. Aside from practicing yoga she loves to hike, rock climb, snowboard, dance to live music, cook vegan meals and spend time immersed in nature. When she is not playing in the Wasatch her passion is to adventure deep into the red desert of Southern Utah.
Betsy Boothe
Betsy is an outdoor enthusiast and has been guiding in the Wasatch Mountains for over 10 years. Betsy’s passion for snow sport include nordic skiing, snowshoeing, touring and sledding adventures. Betsy's speciality is in Anusara yoga and has completed her 200 hour yoga immersion training. She likes to combine the strength training of snow sports, with the moving meditation of yoga to find balance in her body, mind and life. Betsy has her Wilderness First Responder Certification and Avalanche 1 certification. She has been guiding women’s group in Europe and arranging hut-to-hut trekking trips in the Dolomites for over 15 years. When she is not traveling, in the summer & fall Betsy can be found mountain biking and hiking the beautiful trails throughout Utah.
Stefanie Naden
Stefanie grew up at sea level in Virginia and hasn't looked back since moving to Utah in 2009. Snowboarding has been a lifelong passion, but hiking and flexibility didn't come easily at first. Determined to enjoy all that this beautiful state has to offer, she now also enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, split boarding, stand up paddle boarding, and stretching everywhere her adventures take her. This journey of healing in nature led her to complete a 200 hour yoga teacher training at Rocksteady in 2018, which focused on myofascial release. She loves to share the transformative power of mindfulness in nature and will support you every step of the way as you expand into a shared new experience with her.
Larissa Gaul
Larissa is originally from Colorado, but after a brief stint on the east coast, missed the landscape and climate of the mountain west. After obtaining an M.S. in Molecular Medicine from Drexel University College of Medicine, she acquired a few different certifications to teach fitness, both a Pilates-based barre certificate and a 200 hour YTT from Palo Santo Wellness in Philadelphia. She is also a certified instructor under the Professional Association for Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH), and she teaches indoor cycling classes too. Being a guide for PCYA is a natural fit because of her desire for constant adventure and movement. She believes that yoga is for every single body and prides herself on unique transitions and creative flows. Follow her on Instagram @larissattack.
Julia Geisler – Owner, Park City Yoga Adventures
Julia started PCYA in 2011 after a lifetime of adventure and guiding people in the outdoors. She saw the niche to combine yoga with the outdoors and took the leap to start a small business. Because of the incredible support of the Park City community, passionate guides, and our guests, PCYA continues today. Julia has been a yoga teacher since 2002 and a lifelong outdoor enthusiast. As a guide for over a decade, she is intimate with what Park City has to offer. You will find her skiing, split boarding, rock climbing, mountain biking, and more. As Executive Director of the non-profit, the Salt Lake Climbers Alliance, Julia advocates for access and environmental stewardship to rock climbing areas in the Wasatch. She grew up skiing on the east coast at a place called Wisp and has hiked the 2,000+ mile Appalachian Trail. Follow @ParkCityYogaAdventures
